Hello, I’m Dr. Marla – Psychiatrist, Author, Speaker, Coach & Life Strategist

My Message

It’s easy to stay on the path when the road is straight and the steps are numbered. For example becoming a doctor. You know what the steps are and the path is laid out with all the hard work included. Over the years as a seasoned psychiatrist I have helped many to take the steps to mental health. I am now turning my attention from the model of one to one to the model of one to many. I hope to reach out to help more people to become their best selves whether you are 25 to 75 years old.

The path to your best self requires you to break old patterns and habits of mind. Specifically to be brave and at times borrow belief, move with courage to face your fears and most of all to blanket yourself with kindness and compassion. I hope to help you navigate this path with my knowledge and experiences to bridge the science of medicine with the art of medicine. We will start with understanding your basic physiology starting with your breath and learn to focus your attention and tackle your habits of mind for dealing with uncertainty, anxiety and reactionary states of being so that you can become your best self.

If not now, when? You have but one life to live, make it your best.
